Gender Equality Index 2020

Published on March 08, 2021.

Aware of the importance of professional diversity as a factor of collective enrichment, social balance and economic efficiency, APLUSA fights against all forms of discrimination and promotes gender parity to guarantee equal opportunities for all.

How is the index calculated?

The 100-point index is calculated as follows:

  • the pay gap between women and men, for comparable positions and ages (40 points),
  • the gap in the rate of individual increases, excluding promotion (20 points),
  • the gap in the rate of promotion (15 points),
  • the percentage of employees receiving an increase on their return from maternity leave (15 points)
  • the number of employees of the under-represented sex among the 10 highest earners (10 points).

The calculation method and the determination of the level of results obtained and displayed here, are set out in appendices I and II of articles D.1142-2 and D.1142-2-1 of the French Labor Code. The indicators and the results obtained are made available to the company’s Social and Economic Committee via the Economic and Social Data Base (BDES), and forwarded to the DIRECCTE (D.1142-5).

APLUSA’s 2020 score

APLUSA achieves a score of 89/100 on the Gender Equality Index for 2020, above the French average (83/100) for companies with 50 to 250 employees.

This result testifies to our actions and efforts in favor of equal opportunities between women and men. APLUSA supports this approach to inclusion and diversity, and is determined to eliminate any discrepancies once and for all. Every day, APLUSA puts gender parity at the heart of its values.
