Co-President of A+A, is a sociologist with over 20 years in healthcare research. Whilst successfully growing one of the top research agencies in France which became A+A through a merger, he has also pioneered several techniques in patient and communication research in ethical and OTC healthcare. He often consults for pharmaceutical companies on communication programmes with patients and physicians.
Alain (59), graduated in Sociology (Paris). Since 1981 he successfully built and developed the first market research agency in healthcare in France.
Alain was the first to impose the use of advanced analytical techniques based on semantics and psychology in Healthcare opinion research.
Alain has four specific areas of expertise; sales forces, patient research, pharmacists and physicians .
Alain supports his clients in understanding, motivating and increasing the impact of sales forces on product marketing. He also foresaw the increasing role of patients in prescribing and pioneered patient research methodologies including Patient Pathway and Euro Health Prism, a powerful patient segmentation technique. He successfully helps clients translate the emotional involvement of physicians into brand equity. He is currently developing an innovative service that determines the sources of customers’ purchasing decisions in pharmacies at national level.
